Air King 9166 Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I purchased this fan in the begining of the summer and I loved it. It cooled my entire house. Unfortunatelly, in the fall the fan stopped working and does not turn on. I think the motor might have burned. I loved the fan when it was working, but it made a huge noise when it was installed in the window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awsome so far the fan is doing an awsome job of venting out my house on those hot & humid days we will see what the longevity of fan life will be.i will keep you up dated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy, Great quality I am impressed with the quality and airflow of these fans. I use them for exhaust in automotive painting (not recommended, but it works). I am very happy with the airflow. This is a powerful, high quality unit and should last a long time. Very easy to install; takes about 10 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works perfect i have a 3600 sq ft house and i bought two and put them in my closet windows. Now i can cool the whole house with outside air. they work so good we usually only use one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fan works Great ! easy install. Fan is just what I was looking for, easy install and I only need the low setting to cool the entire house. I installed it in a spare bed room, then opened windows at opposite end of house, it cools down in no time. The shipping packaging needs a litlle more attention is my only complaint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected I had a commercial 20" Patton Window Fan for 20+ years that I absolutely loved and when the motor finally gave out, I thought this would be a comparable fan. This fan is MUCH louder and does not work as well. I can actually feel it shaking the house even though it is set in the window. I had to buy air conditioner foam to try to cut down on the vibration and I have never even used the highest setting! It is ok and will continue to use in the summer, but not as happy with this purchase as I was hoping for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This works great, speeds are just a tad too fast. I found this product to be very well made. Easy to install too. I like the color and the fact that the fan blades are black. Makes for a neater look. My main complaint, if any, is that it's a bit too loud and there should be a slower fan speed available. Three speeds are fine but each one should be slower. The high speed is unusable..too loud and too much air. For a larger house, it might be fine but we have only a 1600 square foot house and it's not necessary to have that much fanspeed with the noise. I would recommend it, though, works great on the slowest speed. Very good quality.
