The Air King Through the Wall Exhaust Fan Series features an all metal housing that can be installed into walls 4" to 9" thick and vents directly to the outside.

cost effective trough the wall venting I used this ventilator in the wall above my new grill in the outdoor kitchen I'm building. It was much cheaper than an expensive vent hood and works just as well. It's noisier than a bathroom fan but moves a lot of air. Saved me a lot of money. July 31, 2010

Does this product require a seperate on/off switch?

The Air King EWF-180 does not come with a switch, it will need to be ordered seperately.

Can I use this fan for a bath/shower application as opposed to going through the ceiling

The Air King EWF-180 is Ul rated for damp locations and would be perfect for that! Just make sure that you are terminating outside so you don't have a buildup of damp air collecting anywhere in your house.c

Can this fan be used in a wood shop? To exhaust wood dust?

The Air King EWF-180 is not made for thick dust (such as wood) and is not recommended for use in such an environment.

can I use this fan in a window to exhaust air outdoors

The Air King EWF-180 is designed for use in a through the wall installation.
