Can the Braun E64E30SS vent hood with external roof blower be installed with 8" vent pipe rather than 10"?

A. Because using smaller vent piping to install this unit will decrease its performance and increase noise it is not recommended to install the Broan 336 1500 CFM Exterior Blower with 8" vent pipe.
