"We brought this range hood because it got good reviews. It wasn't too difficult to install if you had the tools for it, but in our case, we didn't and it took a long time to get it up. our hood was shipped to us really quick, but the hood had a dent in it. When we finally put it up, and there was no suction! (even when it was on "high"). We're very disappointed. It was a waste of our money and time."

"Bought this venting system for one of our rental properties. I installed it myself so it's pretty easy. Looks good. Also purchased an replacement Charcoal filter because I was'nt clear on weather it came with one, which it does and these can be washed. All in all for the money spent it is great."

"Our new Broan 4130 Range Hood is excellent!
Looks fantastic and does the best job anyone could expect from a non-vented range hood.
Also, the price was about one-half of what a comparable range hood would have cost to buy locally - even from the big, well-known, building supply and remodeling stores.
I definitely recommend this product to anyone!
P.S. The item also showed up even earlier than anticipated!

A. The Broan 4130 under cabinet range hood can only be used in a non-ducted application. A very similar hood that can only be ducted is the Broan 4030.

Is there a fan on this range hood ?
A. This range hood does include the blower to provide ventilation. It will not include an additional blower. Since this is a non-ducted hood, the air will be filtered then blown out back into the room through the vent shows at the top of the hood.
