Does this series have the vent going out the side of the house?

A. This item needs to be ducted to the outside of the house in whatever manner is possible as this is not a "ductless" or "recirculating" range hood but can be converted to that function if needed.

What is the depth of the vent and are the switches on the underside. I am looking to replace your Broan Model 42 000B

A. Broan QS330 has a depth of 20", 12" of which will be under the cabinet. The switches are located on the top of the hood.
