"I'd seen other reviews saying that the main thing wrong with this fan is that it's so quiet, you might accidentally leave it on all day. Not quite to that level, though I suppose if you're in a noisy area....

It's astonishingly quiet, though -- audible by itself, so you won't forget it, but so completely covered by the sound of the shower I sometimes have to double-check that the switch is up while I'm showering. Clears the room fabulously and quickly.

One thing to note, though -- there's no way I found to mount this fan from inside the casing. The spec sheet tells you what size hole you need for the fan, but doesn't allow space for the projections off the case that are above the ceiling. Plan on cutting a larger hole than the spec sheet says you'll need and patching the ceiling once the fan is in -- otherwise, you'll just get frustrated by constantly having to cut it "just a little bigger.""
