Awesome unit Lots if power for the price.....nice features, especially the heat sensor and dimmable lights........beautiful finish, heavy and well made....a little cumbersome to install though, will need 2 strong men. Very satisfied and highly recommend this fan! June 17, 2011
Very good The installation was troublesome which took two people. You'd better measure and drill first and then tight it. After the installation it has worked great. Most of the time, I only need to set it at 2nd level and not smoke is ever smelled outside my kitchen. May 12, 2011
Recomend 100% I got this product 2 1/2 months ago. Always wanted. But it looks much better. It gives my kitchen a new (professional) look. It had a little problem with the display, but technical support was there to help me with problem, they shipped the new part and I was able to replace it myself. works well had to return the first unit, one of the fan vibrates at lower speed. Venting direct was awesome, I got full refund. the installation instruction is basically a joke, it's close to impossible to stick powertool under the vent since the motor can not be taken off, so I had to figure out my own way of mounting under my cabinate. enough about the bad things. at least the second unit works great! love the look and feel, it's not as noisey as I anticipated at speed 4. Inexpensive for Commerical grade product My husband and I installed this vent ourselves on our DIY project kitchen renovation. It works and looks like an expensive commercial line range hood. Although the zone level is not quite like the high end Pro���s a bit loud on High. The baffle filter was an easy job to clean. January 14, 2010

The Cavaliere-Euro AP238-PS13-30 can be installed in whatever configuration you wish. However Cavalier Euro recommends that the height from cook top to range hood be between 27 and 30 inches.

hello is possible to reduced duct size 8'' to 6'', the duct need to use is only 3 feet long vertical no elbows. the installation is out off usa. specific in mexico. not inspector checked in mexico.

The issue is not one of inspection codes, but of system efficiency. Cavaliere-Euro's installation guide says "A minimum of 8" round or 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular ducting must be used to maintain maximum airflow efficiency."
