Great Find We love our new fan, from all the others i have looked at this gives much more CFM's than equally priced ones. It looks great and was quieter than we expected. We do have one problem with installation, we needed to use the extension on the stack and it does not fit properly, we have 8' ceilings and we only need an add'l 4 to 6" to reach the ceiling. We are going to have to notch out some of the flange on each side so it fits snug at the hood seam (it slightly protrudes). A seamless stack would look a lot nicer. The lights and filters are nice also. This fan would fit any decor. We love it and would defineatly recommend it to anyone. April 26, 2011

The vent hood came within the specified time, in good condition and with no parts missing. It was relatively easy to install, layout taking the longest time, and it looks and runs great. Could be brighter lighting or front placed/spaced lights though. April 23, 2011
Great Product I searched high and low for the right vent hood. I have an older kitchen that is being updated and needed a hood that looked great but would fit in my space. This hood has been installed and I am very pleased with the results. The fan is quiet and I love that the lights are dimmable - I didn't even know that when I bought it so that was a nice surprise. And since I did extensive comparison shopping of vent hoods of all kinds, this one was definitely the best value. The price was right and I love the look. Cavaliere-Euro SV218B2-30 Review I received the product from venting direct. And it sat in its box until the area was ready to install about 2 months later. It was exactly what we were looking for and it matches our kitchen perfectly. About 3 weeks after install, the lcd screen went out. I called vending direct and they contact the manufacturer for me. I had a new lcd screen within 5 days. The product itself is great even though I've only used it for about 2 months. I feel I've made a good choice from a good company. where do you locate outlet for power cord to plug into

The Cavaliere-Euro SV218B2-30 must connect with copper wire/plug only. A fused electrical supply line is required on a separate 15-amp circuit. The plug will be in back of the range hood.

Are the supplied anchors for wall board sufficient for mounting the hood without putting any support behind the wallboard (in those situations where there are no studs to screw into)? The instructions seems to indicated both "yes" and "no."

Using the supplied wall board screws will securely mount this hood to a wall without having to add any extra support.

Can I use this product in an apartment or it has to be a house in order for the smoke to go outside?

Unfortunately not all stainless steel finishes match up, especially if the products are from different manufacturers. I can not imagine that they would be so different as they are both stainless steel, but there may be a slight difference in finish between hood and appliance.
