We need to fit under a 7' 4" ceiling. How short can this be cut to fit below a low ceiling?

A. The Standard Duct cover that comes with this Cavaliere-Euro SV218D-I36 is called the Chimney Ext (Island) by Cavaliere-Euro. The shortest ceiling this would work with is a 92" height (which works for 7' 8" ceilings).

How many inches above an electric stove does this range need to be?
