Can this be installed directly into a ceiling?

A. No it can not. This unit is designed to fit into an existing hood. This is only the guts of a range hood.

A. To select the hood liner and filter for the Fujioh BUF-021, first choose the finish of the product you prefer and on the next page it will display the option to add the filter and hood liner or to decline them.
