Does the dehumidification setpoint work when the tstat is set on heat mode? Will this thermostat turn on the conditioner for a dehumidification for a short time?

A. The Honeywell TH8320U1008 does dehumidify when in heat mode and will run the A/C when needed. In extremely high humidity conditions, the thermostat keeps the air conditioner running for up to 3 degrees F below your temperature setpoint.
