What is the thickness of the backsplash and what sort of edge does it have?

A. The KOBE SSP36 36" Stainless Steel Back splash is made from 18 gauge (1.2 mm thickness) stainless steel and has a #4 satin brush finish edge that is cut flat to the wall and folded at the bottom for strength.
