"The fan replacement fits well in the existing body and is a new design. And yes fan itself is a new design and the grille is more modern. But as far as the main reason I did this for three bathrooms in my home was to reduce the noise of the fan. The replacement fan is NOT quieter, it sounds just as loud as the old one once it is installed. I was very surprised how similiar the noise level was. So for my purpose, it was not a good purchase. Venting Direct did a good job though. Quick delivery, easy ordering, great price!"
