Stove and Chimney Pipe

Overview

VentingDirect offers the perfect venting solution for your stove, fireplace, furnace, or water heater. Please note, this type of ventilation pipe is not the intended for range hoods, bathroom exhaust fans, and/or dryers! Instead, head over to our ducting section.

Below is a brief summary of our vent pipe selection and their recommended applications:

• Stove and Chimney Pipe is a must have for wood burning stoves, as well as most oil or coal stoves.

• Pellet Pipe (commonly called Type L Pipe) is your solution for a pellet or biomass stove. Because of the extra corrosive nature of pellet fuel, special pipe must be used to vent your pellet fireplace or stove.

• Direct Vent Pipe is commonly used for gas burning stoves or fireplaces.

• Type B Pipe is another form of gas venting pipe. Commonly used for water heaters (with a tank) and furnaces. Multiple appliances can be linked into one venting system.

• Special Gas Vent Pipe (also called AL29-4C) is commonly used for tankless water heaters. Because of the condensation produced by tankless water heaters a special gauge steel is used in the pipe to prevent corrosion.
