This range hood features an all-new 4 baffle filter design with easily removable handles and its multifunction LCD indicator makes working this it a snap by using a convenient speed level and delay shut-off display. Duct cover extensions are available for both taller and shorter ceilings.

Good Value, install instructions poor I recently purchased the RA-36 with the short chimney for my kitchen remodel. The good: Construction quality seems very good. It's very quiet on low speeds, and not excessively loud on high speeds. Moves a lot of air, even on low speed settings. Gives a "pro" look, and a reasonable price point. The bad: Install instructions were horrid. No template for ceiling cut outs included in my box, and the diagrams/text were just bad. The so-so:I wish they used LED lights instead of halogen. The halogen lights are just bright enough... The three dimming levels is pretty useless, as they are recessed into the hood body and really only project light onto the cook top anyway. It's not _bad_ lighting, just not great. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. I may switch out the halogen bulbs for LED's at some point in the future. September 20, 2011
